Progression...Clutch Hub Install

Gutted the Clutch Hub nut of the old style "seal"...
two washers, a spring, a snap ring
and cork type seal that was missing

Two modern seals ready for installation...

Get one started and use a socket to press it in...

Hand press...

Two seals stacked, fills the void nicely...

Now... to clean, grease and reassemble a clutch hub...

After everything is cleaned ...I put a layer of grease on the bearing retainer to hold the bearings prior to assembly

Tucked into the grease so they don't pop out...

All in...

Slide it on...

Replace the retainer ring and spring clips...

Proper tooling...makes installing the clutch hub a snap...
Reverse thread and don't forget the nut lock tab...

Install complete...

There you have it...disassembled, cleaned and greased.
New seals in the nut. Ready for a clutch pack and chain!
